Some things do, so here is the complete list. First, the part that matters: ServeHub never decides a price, and never picks a customer to bill. You approve the estimate before it goes, and the invoice is drafted from the signed estimate so sending it is one click — no estimate and no one-off invoice leaves on its own. Two things do bill on a schedule, and only after you set them up. Switch “make this recurring” on an invoice and ServeHub generates and emails the next copy every cycle until you pause the schedule; sell a customer a subscription and ServeHub emails them the renewal notice, the receipt and any failed-payment notice. Neither exists until you create it. Appointments send on their own, and there is no off switch. When an appointment is booked — by you, or by a customer on your website — ServeHub emails them a confirmation right away and a reminder 24 hours before. On paid plans it texts them too. So do replies to people who just contacted you. A website contact form gets a short “we got your inquiry”. Someone who uses the instant-quote widget gets a copy of the price the widget just showed them, which tells them you will review the request and follow up — the real estimate, the one you price and they sign, still waits for you. Someone who signs a contract gets the signed PDF back. Job photos go to the customer as they are uploaded, by whoever on your crew uploads them — worth mentioning before their first day. Payment reminders and estimate follow-ups are on from day one. After you send an invoice, reminders go at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days; after you send an estimate, follow-ups go at 1, 3 and 7. Both only ever start from something you sent, both stop the moment the customer pays or signs, and you can pause either one or change the days in Settings → Notifications. Review requests, job-completion emails and any sequence you build yourself are off until you switch them on, in that same screen.
